I’m beginning by practicing on flat boxes but hope to be able to balance on rails by the end of the season, perhaps even ride the rainbow rail!

Monday December 27, 2004

Name: Lauren, Editor SnowboardSecrets.com
Location: NY
Years Riding: 4
My Snowboarding Goals this Season: Get more comfortable riding fast. Ride higher/faster up the half-pipe walls and do a little ollie turn there to change direction instead of staying on the snow. Learn a true carve. Ride some more rails, maybe some that are even higher than 8 inches off the snow, LOL. Just 50/50s tho. I think boardslides make it too easy to whack your tailbone on metal. And I want to stay off the injured list and have fun, as always!
