We started SnowboardRegistry.com long ago.
Register your snowboard there, then, if it goes missing, you can look up your serial number easily at http://www.snowboardregistry.com/, and give security or the police the complete description of your board.

We have quite a few missing boards listed on the site. If someone offers to sell you a board, it would be good to check and see if it’s showing as “missing” first.
