Binet Clinic

Dr. Marc-Hervé Binet, MD is the snowboard and ski trauma specialist at the Avoriaz mountain resort, on the Porte du Soleil in France. Patients are helicoptered into his mountain clinic after they are injured.

The clinic is outfitted with modern equipment to treat snowboard and ski injuries that occur on the mountain. Patients with serious injuries are stabilized at the clinic and then helicoptered to nearby hospitals around Evian-Les Bains.

For over 30 years, Dr. Binet has been the trauma specialist doctor at Avoriaz. He has collected one of the world's largest databases on snow sport injuries. After noticing that wrist injuries were the most common injury for snowboarders he created the Flexmeter line of snowboard-specific wrist protection.
