LUCAS MAGOON CONTINUES HIS RAIL DOMINATION AT COPPER

Newport Beach, Calif.,
April 4, 2007 - This past Sunday, April 1, 2007 Lucas Magoon reigned
champion at the first inaugural Copper Mountain Hometown Heroes Pro/ Am
Snowboard Contest which took place on April Fool’s Day at the world class
Copper Mountain. From a pool of twelve of the finest professional riders
and twelve of Colorado’s rising amateurs, teams of two were randomly chosen
allowing for pros and ams to ride side by side for the impressive $20,000
prize purse.
The crowds dominated the
mountain, packing in to grab a glance of the awe-inspiring display of rail
riding from all the competitors. But it was Lucas Magoon and am rider Chris
Grenler that took the overall, winning the best Team Title in this
innovative competition. Magoon’s style and technical prowess on the rails
and boxes far surpassed his competitors in the field and helped him clinch
the title.

winning streak alive at the upcoming Mammoth West Coast Invitational in
